After successfully launching his career as a Financial Advisor with Clarica /Sun Life, Will spent eight years as part of the Marlin Financial team, acting as lead investment advisor and serving his clients in all areas of their personal financial planning. In 2017, he launched Tidal Financial Management Inc., so that he would be best positioned to further help his clients manage the ebb and flow of their finances throughout all cycles of their lives. Will earned his Diploma of Financial Planning from the Canadian Institute of Financial Planning in March of 2010, before successfully challenging the Financial Planning Standards Council’s competency examination shortly thereafter in June.

Will is dedicated to helping his clients manage and make the most of their cash-flow by eliminating the behavioural hurdles to implementing an efficient plan which accounts for current resources, future objectives, and potential risks – such that they can master their personal economy and truly enjoy their lives, both today and tomorrow, with the confidence that they have the financial capacity to do so. He is committed to building long-term client relationships on the cornerstones of trust, respect, expertise, and convenience.

Will is proud to be a member in good standing of the Financial Planning Standards Council, Advocis (Kingston Chapter Past President & Advocacy Chair, Chapter Leadership Council Regional Leader – Ontario Central, and National Best Practices Committee), Rotary (Kingston Waterfront Club, Past Service Chair & Secretary), and the Greater Kingston Chamber of Commerce. Will enjoys taking on several speaking engagements for various companies and organizations each year. As well, he is an active member, patron, and sponsor of the arts community – having served in the past on the Board of Directors of Theatre Kingston, Domino Theatre and the Kingston Arts Council. He is a proud past supporter of the annual King’s Town Players Season Launch, and at present, Will is excited to be engaged in the rejuvenation of the project-based production company, Op Knox Entertainment, and has once again become actively involved with Domino. He has also sat as the Fundraising Chair for the Parent Council of J.R. Henderson Public, where his kids spent their elementary school days.
